‘An embarrassment to the history of its people’

Memet Uludag went to speak to a Syrian refugee who made it to Ireland and condemns the record of the Irish government on dealing with refugees. Ireland’s Shame, Syriza’s climbdown

To its great shame the Irish Government, and Finance Minister Michael Noonan in particular, have played a disgraceful role in lining up with the IMF and the EU institutions to inflict further suffering on the Greek people.
